The end of a chapter

You know what the worst type of pain is? It's not physical, but emotional. It's when someone knows all your pain, but still backstabs you without you knowing the real reason. It's hard to cope with, right?

Life can be complex, and it's hard to find out who among your friends is genuinely there for you. Sometimes, people take advantage of you without you even knowing, because you trusted them blindly. But, at the end of the day, it's human nature to fight for oneself to survive in this harsh world.

I get it, but it would've been nice if they had explained why they did what they did. I don't hold anything against you now, and I have no regrets that you came into my life. You taught me a lot, and I'm grateful for that friendship, even though it ended strangely.

That experience taught me to be independent and stand my own ground. I'm thankful for that. I'll always see the bright side of things and remember the good times we shared but this one experience won't let me look at the dark side .I will always look at the bright side no matter how dim it might seem. You were a chapter in my life, and although you hurt me, I'll always cherish the memories.
