A White Lie

 Dancing through the night,

Stars and moon align, making us stronger.

Growing older,

Each day passes, but I don't want to fall.

You take my heart, promising to keep it safe,

But in reality, you're hiding something.

A white lie, a deception you've created.

I feel betrayed, but I know it was for my best.

The late nights, long drives, and butterflies we chased

Were the good old days.

Maybe I'll see the stars through a telescope,

But now I understand that life's alignment isn't guaranteed.

I trust that my crazy life will lead me somewhere,

And hope for the best.
